Loves the jumperoo!

Scary skeleton ready for trick or treating at daycare.

What a happy boy. :)

We took a trip to the beach with Nana and Papa C. in October. Blane had fun spalshing in the pool!
Well, it has been a long time. School took over my life this semester and I have not had a chance to update this blog. Fortunately, it is over now and I have until January 11 until I start my student teaching! Getting this Master's degree has been about to kill me but it will all be worth it on May 8th when I graduate. Bo is still working hard at Nucor Steel. He recently moved up to a Team Leader position on his crew. We both love coming home to our sweet baby.

Now, on to Blane. He has been growing by leaps and bounds. He is 6 months old now and is getting to be a big boy. He started rolling over last month and this month he is working on sitting up. He actually did sit up with the boppy pillow behind him for a good 10 minutes today with no assistance. I just love those moments. He is also holding his own bottle at times and pushing himself up on this hands when on his tummy. Not crawling yet, but I"m sure that is not far behind!

He started eating baby food in October at 4 months old. He has eaten everything we've given him. He especially loves applesauce and sweet potatoes. He tries to grab the spoon out of your hand so he can feed himself when you don't give it to him fast enough. ha ha. He is sitting in a high chair now to eat. He used to love his bouncy chair but has now moved on to loving his jumperoo. Ahhhh...the jumperoo. Thank you Uncle Brian and Aunt Alice for this lovely contraption. It keeps him happy 23 out of 24 hours a day. Not really, but he does love it! He wants to be in it constantly.

I took Blane to his first movie yesterday, The Princess and the Frog. A little girly you may think, but actually it was very good and not too girly. Blane was not scared at all although it was loud. Let me tell you, lugging a 20 lb. baby in a carrier with a popcorn, coke, and diaper bag by yourself is no easy feat. However, I made it and I'm glad I did. We had a great time. Blane was the best baby you could ask for. He stayed awake for the first hour and slept for the last 30 minutes and I got to watch the whole movie. We were happy campers.

Christmas is coming up, Blane's first! I am very excited to see him open presents and his stocking from Santa. I know he is going to be very spoiled by his grandparents (and mom and dad). He had a great time at Thanksgiving being passed around by all of our relatives and soaked up the attention.

Here are a few pics from the past few months. Hopefully I will have time next year to keep this up to date more often.
Happy Holidays everyone!
